Laurel Leng loves exploring ideas through making — always curious about what happens when different materials start a conversation.
“In the virtual world, people seek belonging by repeating the voices, gestures, and aesthetics of others. Yet within this endless cycle of imitation, individuality begins to fade. The repetition that once connects us also dissolves the boundaries of the self, turning identity into replication and personality into a shared template. My work reflects this fragile state of existence — where one’s sense of self is constantly shaped, mirrored, and erased by the collective patterns of the digital realm.”
